Achievement of French market leadership through the acquisition of the industrial activities of Vitembal Société Industrielle

Two major players in the food packaging industry come together as one team to serve customers.
On 27 January 2015, the Court of Nimes accepted the offer made by Sirap to purchase the foam polystyrene tray divisions of Vitembal Société Industrielle of Remoulins; the company has been managed by Sirap since 2nd February. This operation has allowed Sirap to strengthen and develop its position in the packaging market for food in France and at the European level. Sirap now operates two plants in France: one in Noves, near Avignon in the department of Bouches-du-Rhone and the other in Remoulins (formerly Vitembal) located in Gard.

This is intended to ensure and strengthen the partnership with customers through the following key points:

    1. Continuity and flexibility in procurement: two plants in France, supported by 7 Sirap Group plants in Europe.
    2. Level of service “best in class”: with two logistic platforms and a warehouse in Western France.
    3. Business complementarity of a range that is exclusively 'Made in France': Sirap is able to offer the widest range on the French market, covering both industry and retail, and is strengthening its position in both branches.
